9th Annual Young Leadership Gala - “Sahara Soiree” Saturday, December 3rd, 2011 - 8pm to 2am Metropolitan Pavilion, New York City

The organizers of the FIDF Young Leadership were able to transform the Metropolitan Pavilion into a splashy casino cabaret night with incredible music and band along with tasty Moroccan style cuisine and Sushi.

The staff of the Met Pavilion and the organizers were able to handle the crowd of over 1,500 young professionals easily. The smart use of space was conducive to an enjoyable and memorable night. The crowd was able to enjoy the multiple open bars, various food stations, different casino tables, plenty of dance space and other fine features.

The gala was a complete success. Close to $500,000 dollars was raised which will be used to alleviate the financial strains of  over 19,000 current IDF soldiers from economically disadvantaged backgrounds.
